Er....so.....hmm. Well! I'll get straight to the point dearest one. I ABSOLUTELY hate them. Not just a bit, like, I completely loathe them. And I can't for a minute imagine you in them which can only ever be a Good Thing.
And it's odd that their appellative has been inspired by T.T.D'Arby because I have always found him irksome also. A bit hot, but irksome non the less.
Here is another ugly summer shoe which incorporates those ridiculous shoes that look like bandages and an espadrille. Because THAT'S bound to make for an attractive, feminine bit of footwear isn't it?

I'm with Mrs. R. They are the worst shoe dreamed up and then manufactured and sold to masses of corduroy-betrousered toffs EVER. A break-up-able offence. I've forbidden Lord D from ever mentioning them in my presence.
