Thank you to the attendees of Coachella for reminding me how much I hate denim short-shorts/hotpants/cut-offs, which ever your preferred moniker.
Whatever you call them they're hideous.
I really hope this is not a sign of festival fashion for the rest of the summer.

And the worst is when the pockets are showing under the end of the cutoffs. This is a sign they are TOO SHORT.
I was at Coachella and the big thing I found was when they'd match up a solo bikini top with cut off shorts. To show the matching bikini bottom, the shorts were left open.
How decent!!!
I agree, I hate when the pockets are showing. Even if you have great legs it isn't cool.
But flashing your bikini bottom by keeping your shorts unzipped?!? That really is a new low.
