What do you think of Alice Dellal in the Chanel Boy handbag ads?
I think she looks great, but I'm not sure if it is a great match.
I mean, how many girls who look like Alice, or want to look like Alice can afford Chanel?
And would the people who can afford Chanel be inspired to buy it by these ads?

I thought the same when I saw these ads.. I know Grunge is in but ripped tights don't really seem very Chanel. Karl must know what hes doing though, he always does !

I suppose that young Hollywood are going for Chanel bags, but none of them are grungey. Hmm, I'm not too sure. But you're right, no doubt there is a plan!

Now I love The Dellal, I think she's stunning, but I'd rather have seen her ultra glossed up but still rocking her undercut. Sort of subversive mannequiny glossed. Do you know what I mean? If I see her in ripped nylons one more time...etc etc.
