Nearly 200 knicker on a pair of espadrilles seems a mite steep for me. I am really into this pair, but ultimately espadrilles are a one season shoe, wouldn't you agree? They don't age well with the rope fraying easily. So I don't think they are worth spending that much money on. My mother would gasp at the colour combination (blood and bandages) but I do think they are very fetching. Quite grown up for a shoe of this type.

Last week I saw a girl in a maxi dress with a pair like these. It added a real interest and insouciance to a very feminine outfit and I like that. But I also think, great for holiday, for the city? Not so much.
