I had a summer job when I was at university. In an office. I bought my first pair of kitten heels because the rest of my shoes were either entirely innapropriate (bright pink) or perilously high. So the kitten heel it had to be.

But ever since then I haven't been able to stomach them.

They just seem so dated and so, well, uptight.

When they have been brought back around for our delectation I have never been tempted.

But this time it's different. The heels aren't skinny, they are chunky. And I like them.
