Isn't the weather terrible? (In England anyway, lucky you who are somewhere brighter.)

I am sad that I am developing webbed feet because they are going to make shopping for sandals even trickier than usual, but if the deluge continues I suppose that won't be too much of a concern.

But I am even sadder that there are lovely things like this dress that won't find a happy loving home because the weather is so heinous. I started off optimitically, yes, it might be bad now but it isn't really and truly summer yet. But the pessimists appear to be gloating now. They knew it was going to be a bad summer and they were right. It is July now and no improvement is on the horizon. So maybe it will just be wet and lovely summery treats will be consigned to the bargain bin. Sniff!

Don't Blame it on the Sunshine

Every time I see a yellow dress my heart leaps about in my chest.

I think I need to just bite the bullet and try and find one that works for me.

And with the weather being a little grey I think it would be just the thing to bring a little cheer.

There's meant to be a shade of yellow to suit everyone, isn't there?

For summer I like to go neutral with my handbag. But I also like colour. I think for this season I might have to go yellow. Which, particularly in the case of the more buttery yellows, is fairly neutral anyway.

One of these would certainly brighten up my day.

I am properly excited about yellow coming back into favour. Particularly with this dull grey weather we are having. It isn't necessarily the easiest colour to wear but I reckon there should be a shade I could work with, and if not a skirt would do the trick.

And the best thing, for right now, at least, is that it works really well with grey so I could wear it now with my woolens without looking like a complete nut job.
