One(sie) is the Loneliest Number

The onsie for adults seems a little tragic. Just look at poor little Joey Essex here. And I think this proves one thing for certain, the onesie should never be worn out of doors.

But in contrast look how utterly fabulous Rihanna looks in hers.

And it is starting to get really cold at night, and the thought of being all cocooned at night makes me feel all toasty and sleepy just thinking about it. No one would have to see, right?

Plus I probably wouldn't go for a novelty one, just some nice stripes like Ri-Ri. That would be ok, wouldn't it? Oh please say yes...

Dressing Down

I'm still craving a dressing gown.

And these lovely ones are all on sale.
But do I want toweling, flannel or silk?

The silk is probably the prettiest, the toweling, is, well, toweling which doesn't always float my boat.
And the flannel looks good and is warm. So I think that's the one for me. But I'm still not convinced it is worth £71, what do you think?

In One(sie) Fell Swoop

Is this not truly the most hideous thing you have ever seen? It makes me shudder.

And as if the front wasn't bad enough take a gander round the back. Saggy bum anyone? Plus this is made for adults. Who in their right mind would wear this over the age of thirteen? And I also saw versions that would make you look like a dalmation. I ask you.
Fortunately I then saw this pair. Aren't they dreamy? I would feel like a twenties film star in them. Palazzos and a crop top for nightwear? Oh so chic, wouldn't you agree? Hmm, I'm ready to be in my bed.

As Snug as a Bug in a Rug

The clocks going back make me think of nothing more than wanting to cosy up in my bed. And for the first time ever I am thinking about how nice a warm dressing gown would be. My current dressing gown is a very light silk kimono. Which I love. But it does nothing to keep me warm.

But the thought of getting up and wrapping myself in a cosy dressing gown just seems super appealing. Not a white towling one. They just remind me of spas or hotels. They aren't very homey.

But any one of these would fit the bill. Hmmm! It makes me want to get into my pjs just looking at them. And if I was feeling particularly silly, I might pair one with these delightful slippers. This is my strategy for surviving the winter.

Sleep On It

I am the kind of girl who likes to be comfortable in bed. I am not the kind of girl who feels the need to be overly sexualised. I am quite comfortable with my sexual self and feel absolutely no need to wear something saucy to bed in order to arouse my chosen guest.

I would never, ever wear something like this

In fact it absolutely horrifies me. Is it a joke, do you think? What rational woman would want to do this to themselves?

I probably come at the opposite end of the scale. I wear traditional pajama bottoms and a vest top. But I wonder if I would be happier wearing something ever so slightly prettier. Is there a middle ground between the two?

This is slightly more acceptable than the monstrosity above, but it is still too suggestive, don't you think?

And I think this is cute, but I'm not that girl. I know my limits.

But then is this just boring?

Does it even matter if it will be coming off again anyway?

Teddy Boy

Oh me too Kerr! I was fond of a bit of Danger Mouse also. And He-Man. I wasn't so keen on She-Ra. It was all about the boys. Story of my life darling, story of my life....

Anyhoo! I adore that little whisp of thing. It made me think of Old Molly and it's just the ticket for reclining on the bed of an evening. Although perhaps it's more pretty in 'blush' than pink wouldn't you say?

The whole image would work even better if you did so whilst chatting away on a lips phone. (Man! I even want to accessorise nightwear, when will this over capacity for consumerism end, I ASK you?)

SuperTed

I used to love SuperTed. It was pretty much the best cartoon of a super hero/teddy bear who wore his super hero costume under his fur that there ever was, don't you agree?

As adorable as his outfits were though, it is actually this teddy that I would like your advise on:

Don't worry, it isn't for gallivanting around town, just my bedroom. Is it adorable or is it flimsy and silly?
