Zowie Bowie

Aaarrrgghhh! The wedge trainer. The trend that just won't let me lie. I was in NYC and they are all over the shops there, which generally gets me over a trend fast. But I still want them.

Then on my return I saw that ASH have released their summer colour range and I am in love. They look more like the Isabel Marant's in these colour ways.

I kind of love the pink but I have decided to go more neutral and have gone for the beige and yellow Bowie above.

Skinny jeans and a grey sweatshirt and I am good to go. Plus they are so enormously comfortable I fear I will never want to take them off.

The High Life

I have been craving a pair of wedge high tops for a while now. Mostly the Isabel Marant pair above. I have tried to put them out of my mind, but it is evident that they just won't be silenced.

The Isabel Marant pair are waaay out of my budget but Ash have a few nice pairs to chose from. I think a pair in black would work best for me.

And I would like to pair them with these high waisted Current/Elliott skinnies. But I don't know if I am just kidding myself that I would be able to carry them off.

You Little Sneak!

I have long since loved the hidden wedge Isabel Marant high top. But much as I love them I'm not going to shell out a fortune for them so what are my options?

Shrug my shoulders, adopt a wry look and say "Ah well, it wasn't to be"? Or try to find a cheaper alternative.

These are kinda cute, right? I mean not in the same league but nice enough. I particularly like the white and silver pair. But think about this, woman. I live in dresses. Where exactly would a pair of blinding white trainers fit into your wardrobe.
