In the Bag

Oh my gosh! I want this Anya Hindmarch so badly I could faint clean away. Could someone be a love and just treat me?

Thanks awfully.

There's the Rub(ber)

What is the thing that I probably need least in the world?

A Pepto Bismol pink rubber clutch?

Yup, probably.

Doesn't make me like it any less though. Plus, when someone spills their drink down you, which invariably happens whenever I venture out nicely dressed, you can just wipe it clean. Result!

Gimme Some Skin

(Image via Anya Hindmarch)

I know you must think that I am always falling in love willy nilly at any hot pair of shoes or flirty little dress that I lay eyes on. But it's not true, I promise. I'm not as easy as that. Honest.

When it does happen I know. My pulse races. My palms getting sweaty. A blush steals on to my cheeks. My mouth forms a shy smile. I do those Diana eyes. I giggle girlishly and play with my hair.

And it happened to me today. When I saw this. Isn't it heaven? I want it so badly I can hardly see. It is made of leather, python and the central panel is shagreen, or the skin of a stingray. Isn't that awesome?

The Ides of (Hind)march

(Image via Anya Hindmarch)

Now that I am out of the big city I feel it is the right time to ween myself of my oversized bag habit. I have been lugging round enormous bags for years. I couldn't possibly leave the house without my wallet, a book, phone, diary, notebook, keys, MP3, inhalors, tissues, bottle of water, etc, etc, etc. I'm quite sure my spine hasn't been thanking me for it.

So a smaller bag it must be. And I am really in love with this one from Anya Hindmarch. I saw it in this lovely boutique in Bath called Lux (which is where I bought my Belstaff boots, so might be a dangerous place for me to linger).

I should have it, right? Maybe I'll treat myself once I get a job.
