Do You Think I'm Sexy?

I'm seeing my young man this weekend. We are going out for a romantic evening a deux. I want to look super hot for him.



But my idea of sexy and most boys' idea of sexy I suspect is quite different. I could of course just get one of two (three? four? Do legs and boobs count as one or two?) body parts out, or wear something tight. But I kind of like the thought of something a bit more subtle.



I think effortlessness is sexy. So something down played, not overt appeals to me. But would this look just be too corporate?

And as I have an extremely feminine body shape would this slightly masculine look just be wrong on me? I have a horrible feeling it would.

Any thoughts or suggestions on what I could wear to entice my man? (Who admittedly thinks I look pretty lovely in everything I wear.)

This is not what we were lead to expect...!

There will never be a time when I won't be excited beyond belief by how we both utterly adore A Room With a View to the extent that we might faint clean away only to be revived by some brooding chap called George wafting smelling salts under our noses and maybe, ever so slightly, loosening our terribly oppressive corsets... sigh!!

Sorry, where was I? Oh yes, Florence! How delightful! I couldn't think of a nicer treat for your birthday. What a lucky girl you are! When I went to Florence I think I was about sixteen and let myself fall fully into the romantic reverie that I was sure would envelop me. As Miss Eleanor Lavish said "A young girl transfigured by Italy. And why should she not be transfigured? It happened to the Gods!"

I'm not sure that I have ever been so excited about going somewhere (which somehow seems a little tragic now). But you will love it! I was young and so had an excuse for looking less than divine, but you must just drip style from your very pores. We must start planning at once!
