Five Star

I have just walked 84 miles of Hadrian's Wall in Cumbria and Northumberland. And do you know what? My feet don't half hurt. So much so that I am wondering whether these hideous toe-shoes might make them feel better. I really hope the pain goes before I have to resort to them. Can you just imagine? I would have to pretend that I had never had an interest in fashion. I might as well just resign myself to a life wearing Crocs.

PS. That last thing would never, ever happen. Just so's you know.

Would I be laughed out of town for wearing these, the Clarks Serin Wedge, because I looked too much like an old lady?

I think these look super comfortable but are a bit less casual than a flat. Am I deluded? Are they all comfort and no style?

Cold Comfort

Man alive! Why do comfortable shoes that do your feet some good rather than irreparable damage have to be so damn ugly?

All I want is a pair of comfortable shoes that will go with my look. IE not be hideously, hideously ugly.

Is that too much to ask?

Tomfoolery

Eek! I might be off to Singapore and Indonesia for a month next week. Oh the excitement!

I have read that some temples won't let you in wearing sandals, so I was thinking about an alternative that would still be comfortable and I have come up with these. Toms.



Hmmm, yeah, not so pretty, are they? But they are apparently just about the most comfortable things you can put your hooves into.
