The Die Hasbeen Cast

With that brief suggestion of mild weather I am thinking about what to wear with my summer outfits. You know, on my feet.

Something that will work with white dresses, bright colours, and ballet inspired nudes as I have decided my wardrobe will be composed of.

So what about clog sandals?

Comfy, a bit of a heel and neutral without being too attention grabbing. (Well, except for this delicious pink pair, obviously.) I think I might be won over. What say you?

Tell Me About it, Stud!

It has happened. The inevitable, that is. I have bought clogs. These ones from Russell & Bromley, in fact. Yes! These very ones! Aren't they the most? It is an honest to goodness love match. And they go with everything! And they are so cool. And I never, ever want to take them off my feet.

Just thought I would share the happy news!

Clever Clogs

Why oh why do I have to lust after things that aren't good for me?

Skinny jeans.

Wet look leggings.

Mountain climbing boys...

And clogs. Now I can add clogs to the list.

I know I was dallying before, but I didn't think it would go anywhere.

But now I can't stop thinking about them. I worry that I have missed my chance. That all the good ones are gone. That I desperately want them but I won't find a pair I like.

But even if I do (I quite like this pair, for instance), should I just recognise that certain things while desirable aren't going to love me back, aren't going to treat me as well as they should, and that I should just cut my losses before I get my heart broken?

Pop Your Clogs

Clogs. Hmmmm. My mother was always a big fan. And at some stage during my teenage years they were huge. The brightly coloured, low heeled variety. I wanted them so bad, but it wasn't to be.

And now they seem to have grown up. They look almost elegant. And I am craving them once again.

Look how utterly delightful Miss C looks in hers.

But they are silly, aren't they? I shouldn't covet them at all.

Particularly this pair, which are actually quite ugly.

But I do.
