Stud-U-Like

Yay! It has finally happened. Russell & Bromley have an online shop. And I have fallen in love with this pair of studded brogues. Swoon!

Lace-Up in Arms

So what do you say to a pastel shade brogue for summer? I think they would look awful cute with trousers and skirts/dresses. So I say yes please.

(B)Rogue's Gallery

These Robert Clergerie brogues are over £300 pounds and with the chunky sole aren't necessarily for me. But Russell & Bromley have a rather delightful pair of off white brogues that have been flirting with me for a while.

I think they might be rather delightful with my Whistles brown skirt and other ballet themed nudes as well as more colourful items and of course with navy trousers and a breton stripe. Plus they are practical. And I could pretend to be Katharine Hepburn in them, which is always desirable.

Do you think I could carry them off?

Tan Your Hide

(Via Aldo)

I've always loved a brogue. And I can't help but notice that the tan brogue seems to be the shoe of choice for many a young fashionista girl about town. Particularly with a cropped peg trouser. And it looks lovely.

But try as I might I just don't have the right figure for the masculine look.

Much as I would love to look this this:

Or like this:

I realise that I should really aspire to this:

Which honestly is no bad thing. So, I'll just put thoughts of a tan brogue on the back burner and go about my feminine, waisty, hippy, booby way instead.
